We paid $345 for a “room” on a football weekend. The only thing worse than being gouged was the cinderblock ceiling, hard mattresses and the pleasure of having headlights beam into the room in the middle of the night. This “hotel” is more akin to the motel in Shits Creek and better describes the decor. Overall I would let my in laws stay here.

Well, the shower had hair in it that was not mine, the floor in the room was dirty, the toilet had a ring it in and the doors are hard to open. The cleaning person needs to pay more attention to detail.

Old and smelly. One king room half of the king mattress was compressed to a depth of three inches the mattress was broken… The second room smelled as if it were a cigarette manufacturing company… Window dressings ancient… interior from 1981… time to renovate gang! Desk staff young and inexperienced had no idea of local restaurants and what was open… Restaurant attached to the hotel closed early no place to find anything to eat… Drove three miles found Robin Hood brewery pretty good….

Our only major issue was the restaurant. The food was average, but the service was excellent and mother nature delivered some uncommon temperatures for July and they didn't adjust the air so it was very cold while we dined.

Cleaning Policies

The Ramada Hotel & Conference Center recognizes and is adhering to all CDC guidelines. Our guests and employees safety and health is our #1 priority. We are taking extra precautions by increasing the cleaning schedule of high touch surfaces such as elevator buttons, door handles, room keys, pens, counters, bathrooms, seating and remote controls just to name a few. We have the unique ability to leave a guest room empty for 3 days once a guest has checked out. Then our staff does a thorough cleaning and disinfecting using all EPA approved and CDC recommended chemicals prior to new guests arrival. We have installed plexiglass shields at the front desk and restaurant. Hand Sanitizer and alchol wipes are available at the front desk. Masks are required to be worn while in the establishment and encourage and practice social distancing.We also have meeting rooms that can safely be set to the current CDC recommendations as Centre County is currently in the Yellow Phase which allows up to 25 guests.
