The Clarence is Dublin's premier boutique hotel located in the heart of the city on the famous River Liffey. Owned by Bono & The Edge of the rock group U2, The Clarence is very much a reflection of 21st century Ireland. Simple but elegant, unpretenious but luxurious, that which is modern and also embodies the best of of Irish hospitality. It has 44 rooms and 5 suites including the famous Penthouse and Garden Terrace Suites with in-room amenities including a fully interactive TV & entertainment system, high-speed broadband internet access and CD/DVD player. For all private meetings & events, private dining or whatever the occasion, we have an extensive venue offering throughout the hotel. This includes: •The Clarence Suite - maximum capacity is 120 persons reception style located on the 1st floor overlooking the Riffey Liffey. The room can also be sub-divided into 3 seperate sections and offer a meeting room for up to 50 delegates, a break-out area for tea & coffee and a dining area for either breakfast, lunch and /or dinner; •The Gallery @ The Penthouse - available for private drinks receptions only for up to 30 persons. For that very special exclusive party with a baby piano, bar and panoramic views across the city, our Penthouse at the top of the hotel is the ultimate choice. •The Tea Room - available for exclusive-use hire for up to 100 persons.Situated in the original ballroom of the hotel, the renowned Tea Room restaurant occupies a light spacious room with a soaring coved 20ft ceiling, offering breakfast lunch and dinner serving Irish/European cuisine. Lunch and/or Dinner reservations for smaller parties are welcome.• The Study – our residents lounge located on the ground floor off the lobby, only available for private hire in conjunction with one of the above.We pride ourselves on our food quality which is overseen by our Executive Chef and prepared from the freshest of local ingredients in our dedicated banqueting kitchen. In addition to our comprehensive range of banqueting menus, further meeting and event services are:•Screen, OHP projector, video & TV all included in the room hire price•Dedicated AV equipment hire company•WI-FI access in The Clarence Suite (plus Tea Room & The Study)•Roll-out Bar •Bar extensions •Dancefloor •Flowers •Cake making •Entertainment hire •Valet car parking (€20 per night for overnight parking or €5 per car per hour) We offer delegate and group rates for accommodation and breakfast is available to all residents in our Tea Room Restaurant.
