My room was fine but the walls paper thin. I could hear toilets flushing, people coughing and talking. Doors slamming at one in the morning. Babies crying, dogs barking, someone's sleep music at three in the morning.

I was her for a spa weekend woth my sister. She lives in Toronto and I live near Edmonton. Winnipeg is the halfway point between us so we decided to come here for a visit. This is a beautifully appointed hotel with gorgeous architecture and a perfect location. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly. The spa on the 10th floor is outstanding. We will definitely be back. Thanks to everyone at the Fort Garry Hotel for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful architecture and historic design elements, combined with modern updates in the rooms and amenities. Staff service is excellent and timely. The only drawback is the plumbing shows its age. slow sink drains and obviously some $$$ saved by not updating sink hardware. Beds are comfortable, if on the soft side. Overall, a very nice hotel.
