"Dirty Room, not what I booked."

When entering the hotel room, first thing I noticed was the toilet was filthy. You could see it from the door. We were there for a wedding and booked off the wedding cite, that said city view newly renovated room. The room was not newly renovated and we were facing the Arch. After talking to the front desk I was told since we booked with a third party website they will write anything for people to book. She informed me we could change rooms for the only a different view. So the newly renovated rooms were not existing. Which is something the hotel should consider because the rooms online in the pictures look way nicer then the actual room is self. So they don't tell you they charge 150 dollars holding fee for parking and other amenities. That should be somewhere the guest can see before booking. Even though we found parking downtown on the street we did not use the parking they assumed we did and was going to keep the charges on my card until I clarified that we did not park in the garage. Lastly when pulling back the sheets, we found previous guests hair under the sheet. After stripping the bed there was multiple strands of hair on the mattress. With covid I would expect the room to be much cleaner than what we had. I was very disappointed. I had to call down multiple time to remind them to have someone come clean the bathroom. We checked in at one and no one showed up till 5. I was informed they would clean the whole bathroom and they only just cleaned the toilet. The next morning I called down again to get the room cleaned and bed linens changed because of the hair and when the housekeeping arrived they seemed upset and annoyed and told me to wait outside while they changed the bed. I was not impressed with this stay at ALL. The front desk ladies ensured they would have someone come clean the entire bathroom and they didn't and I was informed they don't do daily cleans unless requested. If this hotel is going to stay open during a time like this they need to up there cleaning standards.

Nice but no microwave. Nothing fancy but affordable. Happen to have people fighting down the hall all hours of the night. Beds were a little hard but not too bad. Overall good. Attendants were very helpful and nice. Was in walking distance for all of downtown.

Dog Guestrooms must be arranged in advance to be placed on a dog floor. Dogs are not allowed on other floors in the hotel. We do not allow "dog walk-ins". There is a $100 fee per stay (up to 7 nights) to have a dog in your guestroom. The dog must weigh 50 lbs or less. No dogs of an agressive breed allowed. Onely one (1) dog per guestroom. Dogs are required to be on leash and in your control at all times. While you are with your dog, you must enter and exit the building through the side entrance next to the Gift Shop. You may not bring your dog to any public area, such as any of our restaurants, lounges, 18th floor terrace, or the lobby. Dogs need be walked in the designated “Dog Walk” area located in the park located in front of the hotel to right of Chestnut St. You are required to clean up after your dog. Guests will receive two dog bowls (for food and water), one toy and doggy bags. These items may be kept.Out of respect for other guests here in the hotel, your dog should settle by 9:30
