The building itself needs alot of renovation. It appears dirty because of the dark carpet and old caulking in the bathrooms. When we initally turned the water on in the tub it came out brown. There were also leaks in the roof over the pool. The ice machine on the 2nd floor did not work. The service was good. Had a quick response from maintenance when we discovered the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work. Breakfast was good but it is a little ridiculous that you can't take any food from the area. The location of this hotel is excellent. I think it would benefit the Clarion to fix the building up.

The property is in updating/renovation stages so all work is not complete. Our room was nice but clearly needs completion. The hotel location is ideal for our purposes. We are hopeful renovations can be completed in the near future.

Property Description

The Ramada Lansing Hotel and Conference Center is conveniently located right off I-96 at Exit 93B. We are only minutes away from the Capital and many other wonderful attractions in Lansing, East Lansing and Grand Ledge. All of our rooms come complete with 27" TV's, pay movies, coffee makers, iron/ironing board, data port phones and free wireless internet access. A full sized pool is the highlight of our indoor Atrium Recreation Center. We also feature a sauna, whirlpool, modern fitness center and playground located in the Atrium offering year-round activities for the children. MSU is located just 12 miles east of our location.
