The hotel couldn't have been nicer! Beautiful as were the surroundings!
We went for a wedding and I can see why they picked this place! I was thinking it was a little expensive at first but it is worth every penny. From check in to check out it was a good experience. The staff were professional from their attire to their mannerisms and the grounds and rooms were beautiful. I would definitely go back!
The grounds are very nice! Everything was very clean. The employees were very friendly. The beds very comfortable.

Excellent location close to the tunnel of trees and other fun up north Michigan towns.
We absolutely loved our stay! So close to the heart of town yet quiet and peaceful. We walked along the Beach.St. and admired the beautiful homes,boats and sunrise. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. They also put out a lovely spread for breakfast. We will be back!
This is our second year staying at the Colonial Inn during the July four holiday. It's a wonderful getaway and I look forward to doing it again next year.
