- Supply our own water from a well - Recycle all glass bottles - Plastic bottles are limited to one person per room per stay - Single use plastic bags are not used - All food from the local community, packed in woven palm leaves - Food is grown locally, paddock to plate, with a 10km food mile radius - With the exception of milk, cream, chickens - We create our own power, using diesel generators, moving towards solar once we can find the correct battery suitable to the Vanuatu harsh climate - Bikes are used as mode of transport at the resort - Shampoo, conditioner, body wash are produced locally. They are refilled daily into our reusable pump bottles - We launder all our own linen and towels, with a biodegradable soap and line dry in the sun
