The Conway center is about 5 miles south of Cranmore Resort Ski Area and 5 miles south of Cranmore Mountain Resort.

Warm weather starts to become noticeable around the end of May and lasts until around the middle of September with average highs of 80 degrees Fahrenheit and average lows of 58. Temperatures start to decline into the high 60s during the day and lows in the upper 40s during October and continue their slide down until around the end of January. The coldest day of the year lands around January 29 with an average low of 10 and a high of 29. The temps start to rise very slowly as the days grow longer. Average high for mid-March is a chilly 39, but the daily temps start to rise fast until they reach their peak around the end of July.
The potential for rain on any given day is on the high side, but the wettest months start around April 13 and end around August 22 with a 30 percent chance of rain just about every day. In fact, early July has the greatest potential for wet weather with an average chance of 38 percent. The weather gets drier in the cooler months, but that means precipitation switches over to rain and snow as the temperatures drop. Chances for snow are the highest around December 30.

The Colonial Motel is an updated motor-court-style hotel that offers a stay that feels more like a bed-and-breakfast than a motel. Room amenities include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, mini-fridge, high-speed Wi-Fi, desk with chair, and in-room HVAC controls. Larger rooms and suites come with the addition of a two-person whirlpool tub in the room or whirlpool tub/shower combination in the bathroom. The hotel itself features an outdoor pool, picnic area, free coffee, hot chocolate, and tea every morning. The northeastern region is known for its vivid fall colors, and Conway is no exception. The Conway Scenic Railroad operates two historic railways that travel around the valley and to the Crawford Notch in the mountains. The Valley Train line boards at the circa-1874 railway station in North Conway Village and travels around the valley region for panoramic views of the area. The Notch train operates five months out of the year and offers unparalleled views of the surrounding mountainside as it crosses trestles and bridges on its way up the mountain.
Take a scenic drive up Kancamagus Highway, also known as Route 112. It runs from Center Conway to North Woodstock and to the south of the Franconia Notch. It's a 35-mile drive that offers one of the best views for fall foliage and one of the most scenic drives in the U.S. The route takes you through the White Mountain National Forest and offers views of Sabbaday Falls, Lower Falls, the Swift River, and Rocky Gorge. Travelers reach an elevation of around 3,000 feet at the highest point on Kancamagus Pass.
Conway, New Hampshire, is a great place to stay and play for a while with all of the activities it has to offer throughout the year. Shopping, easy access to the mountains
Lots to do here from restaurants to shopping to getting exercise walking from location to location.
Spectacular views, fresh clean air, Our Lady of the Mountains Church, and First River Bridge park.
Conway is rich in history, architecture and railroads. Endlessly beautiful scenery. Plenty of great shops and restaurants. Skiing, camping, river tubing biking and hiking. Everything you can imagine you can find here in Conway and North Conway. Come see for yourself.
Location is prime for outlet shopping!

Conway/North Conway has always been a favorite spot for me. The hiking is outstanding. The views are exquisite. Saco River is always a beautiful kayak ride and no matter where you drive, it's absolutely beautiful. I've said it 1,000 times, there's something about the air in New Hampshire. I love it.
