Downtown area very nice we were there for a baseball tournament so only got a few hours to see the downtown area but ballfield was nice too.

Owensboro is a quaint, hospitable, and beautiful city. It is obvious from the construction that they are updating and improving. The restaurants that we visited were excellent and clean as were the stores we visited while there. I would recommend Owensboro to someone who was looking for a little getaway for the beauty and serene atmosphere.
