Newbury is a small town center straddling Route 103. No stop lights, just a Post Office, Town Hall, Fire Station and Police Department. But it's home to Lake Sunapee and Sunapee Mountain, two wonderful destinations in NH. My favorite place to eat is Bubba's. Homey atmosphere, good eats, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Second choice: Salt Hill Pub.

Newbury is awesome! Just have the wrong hotel staying in it.
Mount Sunapee is an excellent ski mountain resort in the New England Handicap Sports Association. Staff and volunteers are just excellent. I also like the ski shop that you can walk to from the hotel and the pub. Both are really good businesses.
