The city felt so SAFE. It offered so much in shopping, food and beverage and tourism from the churches and other architecture. We had a private walking tour booked and we visited many local establishments off the square to eat and drink.
Pretty canals, bridges lined with flowers, and the lively vibes.
Food, beer, outside cafe culture. The river, huge number of museums. Busy but easy to find quiet spots.
Not to be missed. The historical significance of this town shows in it's excellent and well preserved architecture. Worth two days at least.
In particular, the buildings alongside the canals are beautifully lit at night, making beautiful reflections.
