I love Blowing Rock. I would love to get a reservation at Chitola Resort, but it seems that is nearly impossible. My son loved snowboarding at Appalachian Ski Mountain.
I love going to “the Rock” and sitting on the patio/deck enjoying the beautiful scenery, feeling the cool breeze blow and enjoying a hot dog for lunch while reading my book. The city itself is beautiful, flowers are planted everywhere not just in town on Main, BUT EVERYWHERE!

The flowers and landscaping downtown are spectacular. The en plein aire art exhibit at Edgecomb Cottage, featuring two local artists, is top notch! Definitely worth a stop to see!
