Visiting friends in Topsham Maine. Did not use Freeport. Chose Hampton because we usually use Hampton.

We love the Tuscan Bistro, Kings Head pub, and of course the LL Bean stores and other shopping.
The location is perfect! 7 minutes from LL Bean.

Freeport is a "just the right size" and easy to navigate...you can get everywhere by foot in downtown. The people make the town, so friendly and helpful! Hotel staff was happy to see us and helpful with questions. I wish I could live here!

Lots of things within walking distance!
The hotel was so close to the shopping areas which was nice for walking. The Met was a great place for morning coffee and breakfast. There was a little shop on Main Street that had all local and Maine items that was a breath of fresh air! Lunch at the Tuscan Brick Oven Bistro and dinner at China Rose were wonderful. The staff at Casco Bay Cutlery & Kitchenware shop literally took items of interest out of the package to demonstrate how to use it. So impressive! Thanks to all! It was a great trip.

Shopping at Giant and LL Bean flagship store is top reason to go to Freeport. But there are dozens of outlet stores too for those who love to search for bargains.
Wolf's Neck, LLBean and the Amtrak stop are the usual reasons we visit Freeport.
In proximity to the hotel were a couple of nice restaurants and a diner; very close to shopping and two really good ice cream places!
We visited LL Bean. Won't it be exciting to see what the remodeled store looks like! We also love the book store!

L.L. Bean, Linda Beans Tavern Inn and especially When Pigs Fly bread store. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We LOVE Freeport and that's saying a lot because we are from the beautiful state of Virginia.
