Below are reviews of the city of Hines, OR from an actual visitor's perspective.
The people are genuine to visitors, no putting on airs, just basic good people.
Location is nice and remote and that's what I like.
Hines was a good place to stop over. It seemed like a decent town with good people and a few stores and restaurants. I wasn't there long but the first impression was a good one.
Beautiful country, friendly people. We went to Pine Room for meal and it was excellent.
Convenient to restaurants.
There is a friendly, at ease, kind of atmosphere in the city of Hines. As a elderly woman, traveling alone, I felt safe and respected.
