Mansfield, Pennsylvania is a beautiful town in Tioga County with a population of 3,000 at the 2020 census. It is home to the Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, a small public university. Mansfield PA has a lot of history, including the world's first electrically lit nighttime football game in 1892. It was a huge success, with the team winning easily against their opponents. The lights made it possible for the game to be played at night, and it was a big step forward for the sport of football. Besides this, the borough is home to the Mansfield Armory, built in 1938-1939, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
