I was born there love it.
I grew up in Alberta, VA which is 18 miles north of the city. It is a fine small town and always has been.
We found a great restaurant for our short stay — 313 Franklin. The food was excellent, as was the service. Everybody we met was very friendly.
I grew up in Boydton, so it was very nice to see how much this area has grown.
The Microtel/Wyndham hotel is the place to stay in South Hill. My time in South Hill was brief. Didn't have time to explore.
