Below are reviews of the city of Swift Current, SK from an actual visitor's perspective.
I've known Swift since forever. It's got all I would ever want for a short stay.
Like that everything is so close together didn't have to travel far to get anywhere.
Ok
Swift Current is about an hour and a half from where I live and the day I was there visiting there was a farmers market and a show and Shine car show it was very pleasant everybody was very friendly
Friendly
We went to Saskatchewan Landing Park and it was wonderful. Beautiful place to visit.
Close to all restaurants and stores
Enjoyed an anniversary dinner at the Spring Gardens restaurant in the mall, also worth a stop!
We like the casino!
Swift Current is a nice city.
We loved the City! We enjoyed going to the Black Bridge Brewery & have to say that their beer products stood out compared to other breweries we visited in other communities. We were lucky enough to choose a restaurant that we would certainly go back to when we return down the road - the Akropol Restaurant was Excellent, not only food wise (the pizza was Superb) but customer service wise - John knows how to treat his customers - a class act!
Beautiful scenery.
Had never stayed in Swift Current before. WE attended the Kite Festival which was great, went to a restaurant that served a lot of smoked brisket, steaks, and had great salads (I think it had "Station" in its name). we also went to the Living Sky casino, where again the staff were more than accomodating! Overall, a great short day trip!!
Went to take kids to water slide.
I enjoyed the shopping. It is a city very easy to navigate. The people I met were very friendly and helpful
