Lets start with Bizarre looking room, bright yellow couch on one side, on the other side retro Jetson's modern. Work desk had a lamp with a design such that you could not plug in IPOD plug into it's outlet. chair for desk was so low, you had to reach up to work on desk. Requested new chair twice, and it never was delivered. Pillows were marked firm or soft when checked in, but they were all old with no texture to them. Bed was firm and comfortable and the room was fairly clean. Had to call twice for reservations and both times, I was disconnected and had to call back. Front desk people were average. Did not get welcome anyting for being member of their priority program. Restaurant poor service was only matched by poor quality. Poor lighting in the rooms. « less

Stayed here for one night on a short trip back to Lansdale. They have redone the hotel since my last stay several years ago and I can say it has improved greatly. We found the hotel to be very busy with business people which made for a good mix in the bar. The food was better than average and the service was very good. We will stay here again, give a chance. « less

Houseman David accommodate us very well. David ask if we needed anything. He ask if we any assisted while we stay there he would be at are service. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and thought it was good. However, I have to change my opinion as I had a bad experience with my most recent stay. I think the personnel are still great. The decor of the rooms and the room itself seems to be showing signs of wear. My biggest problem occurred the last night of my stay when I found 2 very large bugs crawling up the wall. I killed them, of course. Later that night I woke up with an enormous bug bite on the top of my foot. Apparently the bug was in my sheets. I had trouble wearing my shoe the morning of check out. I did report this to the front desk who told me the manager would calll me that day before noon. He never called. Also, the walls are very thin. I could hear everything said in the room next to mine. You would think for the price paid ($145-150) you would have bug-free rooms & the rooms would have a better appearance. Really disappointed with this stay. « less

Outside is typical HI design with green lights. This large property is slightly hidden near a gas station, and a little set back from Sumneytown Pike. Checkin was smooth (two colleagues had room mixup issues which were promptly resolved with comp'd bistro drink coupons). The lobby is at a level between 1 and 2, so walking from lobby first take stairs down to take the elevator farther down the hall. There is a separate entrance in the back, where no stairs are encountered. Room was clean, spacious, pretty well equipped (all plastic cups). Windows did not open to outside for fresh air. Comfortable bed. Breakfast not included in standard rate for platinum. The room pricing did not seem to be in line with the area. There is a Wawa shop/gas station in walking distance for snacks. Wifi worked semi-reliably on work laptop, despite plenty of signal, plenty of repeaters, however may be due to Win7. Would come back here if the price was right. « less
