When I stay in Mason I usually stay with my sister, however, on this trip my sister's home was going to be full of out of town family for a college graduation in Cincinnati. The Hilton Garden Inn provided us with a quiet, safe and clean place to sleep, indoor pool for the kids, great location for easy freeway access, and shopping center with cinemas and a variety of restaurants. We stayed April 26-29. We thought the rates were a little high for an off season stay. « less

I stayed at this property for business this week and can say that the property is nice and conveniently located off of I71. I got a very good rate for the evening and the location is near the office I did business at the next day/The lobby is nice, complete with a bar/restaurant and the front desk staff was very nice. I received two bottles of water for being a Hilton honors member.
Where I was disappointed is that I reserved a king room and was given two queens. When I called down to the front desk they said that my reservation must've been for a queen room and that they were sold out. I'm confident I reserved a king. In fact, I reserved FOUR rooms for this business trip. The lighting in the room is relatively dim and the TV small for the size of the room. I found the bed and pillows uncomfortable as well. The one thing that really turned me off about the stay was when I went to close the curtains, I stepped in a nasty puddle of water in the rug. Must be condensation from the HVAC unit, but it was really gross and I kept wondering what nastiness lay under that rug. « less
