I stayed at Courtyard Marriott for a night in March 2013. The location is great, spacious driveway, parking etc. Reception is simple and modern. The welcome was quite warm and the check-in was a breeze. A few freebies are offered to regular guests. The rooms are clean, well laid out and spacious out. Large windows give good view of the place around, since I stayed in one of the 6th floor rooms. Really Lard bed for a Kingsize. Well stocked fridge.Free and Fast Internet. Good list of TV channels and for one night's stay, I could not enjoy all the facilities offered at this place. I would always stay there every time I visit San Jose. « less

This Courtyard is right next to I-17 so it is very convenient. The room was a good size and everything is new. For just over $125 we got a King bed, sofabed, spacious desk area, flatscreen TV and more. It was a quick trip so I didn't have time to get a picture. No breakfast. Very comfortable landing spot after a busy day. Room was very quiet. The lounge area in the lobby is comfortable and quiet. « less

Standard Courtyard that I have come to enjoy while traveling for business, albeit no frills. Newly renovated lobby and rooms with a very modern feel. Rooms feel spacious, mini fridge is helpful so I can stock up at Whole Foods for the week. Free parking and free internet. This is near a residentially commercial area - shops and restaurants (Pruneyard) - better than being stuck in the middle of an office park.
I enjoyed the bistro but there was a rather limited menu. Starbucks coffee was nice though. « less

We unexpectedly spent 9 nights in this hotel due to a family emergency, and from the moment we checked in we found the staff to be attentive, helpful and responsive to our every need. When we needed to plan a gathering, they gave us meeting rooms, and when we had catering delivered they set it up for us. They made copies for us when we needed them and made coffee for us even after the restaurant was closed. The manager even slipped our kids a few treats from the market on occasion. The lobby is comfortable and there are nice seating areas that make it feel like your own living room. When we needed to plan a funeral, they worked with us to reserve a block of rooms and offered our family and friends a great room rate so we could all be together in one hotel. On top of everything else, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very quiet at night. We didn't hear any noise from other rooms or from the elevators that were near our room. My husband stays in Courtyard hotels almost every week, and this one was among the best he's seen. « less
