I had purchase a one night stay Groupon.. we were treated to a upgrade jacuzzi room. The suite was wonderful and very comfortable. I will definitely come back here for a stay. Stayed at the MainStay in Dover for 44 weeks. The staff was excellent they went out of their way to make certain you had what you needed. you can't beat the price. I can't believe the value. the rooms were clean and always stocked with coffee and tea. Having your own fully equipped kitchen was great. I preferred the 2 room model felt homier. Did not feel like a hotel. Breakfast was put out at 5:30 AM which gave me plenty of time and the selection was great. « less

Everyone is available when they are needed. Pool is also maintained heated during the winter. I recommend this hotel. I have stayed here for over 4 times and I have no complaints about it. « less

From the time I checked in on the 4th of March 2013 until I checked out on 11th of April 2013, the staff at Mainstay made me feel at home. The staff including the house keeping staff were very friendly greeting us and making sure we had every thing we needed to make our stay a great experience. I was impressed the day after we checked in, I was eating the free breakfast when a man named Robert joined me and started talking with me. We had a nice conversation for about 20 minutes. When I told him about my pain in my hip and how I wished they had a Hot tub. He said they had a room with a big tub with jets on the first floor. He told me it was in another guests room. He asked the lady manning the check in counter if it was occupied. I stated I could not want to upgrade to that room. He then told me that he was the owner and that he would let me use the tub because the person that was going to rend that room would not be in until late that night. and requested the staff reclean the room after I enjoyed the use of the tub.
This was my first experince at Mainstay Suites but it will not be my last.
I highly recommend the Mainstay in Dover, Delaware for your long term or short term hotel experience.

We stayed at the Mainstay Suites Dover for two nights, myself in one room and children/grandchildren in another. Our rooms were well appointed, SO CLEAN, and the bed was amazingly comfortable! I especially appreciate and enjoy the fact that this facility accepts pets, and even went as far as to have a little 'spread on the bed' just for my Jackie Boy! The front desk staff was warm, funny, and very gracious, letting me borrow scissors (that I'd forgotten) to wrap birthday gifts- I won't stay anywhere else in Dover but right here. « less
