A friend and I stayed at The Court this past weekend, and were impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, and convenience of this lovely hotel in Murray Hill. We were greeted by Daniel at the service desk with great courtesy and friendliness, and were treated the same way by every other staff member we saw during the course of our stay. The room was a good size and was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we loved the walk-in closet and the rain showerhead. We used the "Secret Sale" from Quikbook and got it at a greatly reduced rate, which made it even better. The only thing I could have wished for was a coffee maker in the bedroom - but we didn't ask, either, so it's possible that we could have had one. However, they do have coffee downstairs and there are several diners and coffee shops in the immediate vicinity, so it wasn't much of a hardship. « less

Needed to get last-minute accommodations in NYC, used Hotwire's deal, where you commit and only then find out the name of the hotel. The court was friendly, clean, accommodating, and convenient. It's partner hotel, the Tuscany, two doors down, had a health club, and the Court has a restaurant open for breakfast, so everything is within reach. « less

I did book last minute, but I didn't expect to pay $600 per night (including tax) for a place like that. It is nice, but it's New York so it's noisy. Also the air conditioner was extremely loud. I did like the place, it was trendy and cool, but it's hard to swallow that type of price. Be sure to book in advance, and understand that May is a very busy month for business. « less

Dear nicholasjohnfield,
Thank you for sharing you recent experience at The Court. May and June tend to be especially busy months for travel in New York City, and when hotel rooms are in short supply, prices tend to be higher. As you recommend, we certainly encourage guests to book as far in advance as possible, thereby ensuring the best possible rates.
It would be our pleasure to arrange a return visit for you at very favorable rates. Simply email our Director of Reservations at christopherj@stgilesnewyork.com and we will be delighted to welcome you back for a true St Giles experience.

I stayed at this hotel located in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan at the last minute due to a meeting in the city. I was greeted kindly and I was upgraded to a suite that had a separate living room area and a huge bedroom. The hotel looks like renovated apartments. It was only an overnight stay but would recommend it to anyone to stay. The ONLY downside was the shower head was cheap and the water actually hurt spraying out of the shower head to the point I needed to get out of the shower as soon as possible « less
