Stayed five days during christmas. We enyoyed the pool and jacuzzi, it is covered, so no cold temperature there. Breakfast was good and varied; breakfast area had enough tables. The hotel has a very good location; there is a Hi Hop restaurant around the parking area and a Walmart store just two blocks away. A Starbucks coffe shop is also close, like 5 minutes walk. « less

For the level of the facility, this Comfort Inn seems a good value for the San Antonio urban area. It's not luxurious but the room was clean and the breakfast a little more varied than many free breakfasts. On some days, Tex-Mex breakfast items are provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful though at times the clerk was out. The hotel is miles from the Alamo and Riverfront but they are a straight shot from the hotel by interstate and around equal distance to Seaworld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas as well. Be sure to ask the staff how to access the interstate south and west bound. « less

First off the front staff(Rosemary) was the ONLY thing good about this hotel! She was very helpful and so nice. I can't say enough about her. Other than that I would NOT recommend this hotel. When I got into my room it looked very nice however... there was trash in the bathroom from the previous person that stayed there that had bought some new clothes and taken their tags off and threw them in the floor in the bathroom and stuck a sticky tag on the counter top and bobby pins and hair was all over the counter area by the microwave. I went to get a soda after a long drive to get there and the vending machine didn't work, however the ice machine did ..... So I went back out to get my belongings out of my vehicle and seen a couple of guys just kinda of standing at the stairs/door to get back in the hotel. Once returning from my vehicle to go back to my room a couple of more guys (gangster looking) showed up. By this time I was very frighten what could come of this. I returned to my room and called the front desk and was told a security would escort them off the property. The following night my second evening there was just so horrible... I get in my room to find that the housekeeping had taken my pillow that I had brought from my home. I went down to the front desk to let them know what had happen and she had told me no big deal it would be found that they have several pillows that the housekeepers put in trash bags until the owner of them claims them and she would look for mine.Which was NEVER found! As I go back out to my vehicle to get a couple of items for night fall the same guys that was just hanging out the night before was back as if they was around selling drugs or looking up to no good. I get back in my room and for 2 hours after a long day of work to having to hear teenage girls jump around up stairs and running up and down the hall way. Which I had no problem with at first until 1am came around and it was still going on. So once again I call up to the front desk and they told me that they pool was just closing and that all the kids had just been kicked out of the pool and going to their rooms. I finally call Hotels.com and let them know everything that had happen. Needless to say I only got 4 hours total for the 2 days I stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites..... Not recommended at all....... « less
