"Front desk closed too early."

Front desk closed too early. Was running late and the clerk said desk closed at 9:30, would leave key in an envelope with my name on it(!), gave me the code to unlock the front door and I could find my room. Another evening at 8:34PM the door to the main inn was locked and the code for the lock did not work for me. I know it was off season but they could have had a better system for their guests.

Property Description

Historic Hotel Listed on The National Register. Beautifully appointed rooms with new 32 inch tvs, Cozy antique style furniture and great views.Many rooms with balconies or open onto deck area. Resaurant and bar overlook town of Stowe with river running behind it. Gorgeous Famous Grant's Bar offers many style beverages, craft beer, wine and assorted drinks. Try our salmon cedar plank entree or choose from many others. Ask about our home made desserts, appetizers and yummy salads. Beautiful wood deck is great for Summer dining and relaxing. Living room at inn boasts a fireplace and complimentary daily coffee and tea. Library has books/games and fireplace. 4 acres of lawns perfect for wedding or event. Outdoor pool and spa and located on the Mountain Road across from the covered bridge, first on the Mountain Road. Walk to Town 1 block.
