We stayed here for an anniversary trip and some R&R. We were only about 8 or 9 miles from the riverwalk area, location was near many food and other entertainment options as well.
Hot breakfast buffett is nice to have to wake up to as well.
Only complaint is with it being in the Med Center, we heard a lot of sirens. I can sleep through it, my wife cannot but is an ear plug sleeper already. If things like the occasional siren keeps you from a restful sleep, plan accordingly.

Very spacious and comfortable bed and room. Excellent breakfast. Room was very clean. Bathroom towels were old and bathmat tattered. We were on the I10 side and when the a/c wasn't running there was noticeable highway noise. Regardless, we would stay at this hotel again. Very friendly staff. « less

We have stayed at this hotel on several trips to San Antonio. It is quaint and the people at the front desk are very friendly. It has a very "at home" feeling. Even the breakfast area is homey. The breakfast is wonderful and it is included in the price. You are really getting a bargain for your money.

Stay was great. We were looking forward for bacon for breakfast as there is a big poster portraying sizzling crisp bacon and eggs, and my kids love bacon, but in the morning there was only sausage patties which they hate. So our morning to ruined because of breakfast bacon. Aside from that, everything else was great. « less

I Am A Best Western Employee From Another Property. I Took My Family On Vacation In San Antonio Which Included 3 Feisty Children. I Had Two Rooms, Both Where Doubles. This Was A Very Nice Stay. No Complaints from Us. Staff Was Cool. Rooms Where Very Nice. I Think This Site Should Take Down The Old Guest Photos As The Rooms Look Almost Identical To The Professional Pictures and have been updated. Everything In The Room Was Very Clean And Tidy; The Lobby Was Also Very Clean. Hotel Smelt Fresh Even With Smoking Rooms Available. Laundry Was Open 24 Hours A Day And So Was Gym, Which I Think Is Idea For Guests. Very Quiet Area with Restaurants near By, Including Ihop and Ruby Tuesdays Less Than a Minute Away. I Couldn't Tell You About Breakfast As We Never Ate It. Are Family Was Very Pleased With This Property. « less
