The University of Texas at San Antonio offers academic opportunity at three campuses. 1604 Campus, Downtown Campus, and UTSA's Institute of Texas Cultures together serve as the educational home base for more than 28,000 students. The Texas Legislature founded the school in 1969 and it's accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
