Hotel just felt old and dingy and no matter how much anyone cleaned, it just didn't look clean With some room rates a free hot breakfast is offered.Custom made omelets were excellent, cottage cheese, yogurt, fruit - canned and fresh, small pastries, scrambled eggs(not that great), sausage, bacon, breads...a fairly large choice of breakfast. Don't order tea, as they charge extra for it. Just bring your own tea bag.

My wife and I stay very frequently when we come back to Denver. This last time was crazy. So we called for the shuttle to pick us up. We had to call 4 times for someone to tell us that they did not have a driver and that they would have to call the sister property to come get us. When we got to the Ramada a girl named Jamie gave us a $25.00 dinner voucher. The next day my wife had looked at the bank statement only to find out that they had charged US for two nights when my company had paid for 4. The Manager "Paige" told her not to worry and gave her 2 more $25 vouchers for dinner. I had my teeth pulled the day before and had to go to the emergency room. Adam was right there with the shuttle to take me to the hospital and come get us.

Booked this room via Hotwire and now I see why only 65% of Hotwire users recommended it. The place is just gross and there were some very unsavory characters staying there. The hallways smell like disinfectant, probably from either guests or housekeeping trying to mask the smell of the smokers in non-smoking rooms. One guest had even draped a towel over their door and shut the door, ostensibly to keep smoke from coming in or out.
I'm nearly completely bald, but there were long black hairs on the bathroom floor and walls of the showers. One of the bedsheets had the beginnings of a hole in it and the carpet was filthy. I thought I had found one of the only redeeming qualities when I noticed the bottled water in the vending machine was only $1. Turns out the bottle was only 300mL (about a cup and a quarter).
It was nice that they had shampoo, soap, conditioner and lotion, but they were all "sugared citrus" scented, which basically made me smell like a giant bag of Tropical Skittles. My room was near the elevator, so all night long I was awakened by the mechanical sound of the elevator equipment lifting and lowering the unit. My traveling companion was down the hall, but the first room key he was given opened a room that was already inhabited by another guest.
There were basically two types of people staying there: those that looked as scared and regretful as I, and those who looked like they were drunk/high. As mentioned in other reviews, the non-main entrances were supposed to be key entry only, but they were wide open.
The area where the hotel is located is extremely industrial and not really near anything except railroad tracks, warehouses and interstates.
The only odd thing about this hotel is that the manager seems to respond to every review, so maybe they are at the beginning of really turning this place around, because it certainly needs it--before a meth lab explodes in one of the rooms. « less

The bar area downstairs had very poor service and seemed like employees didnt have clue where things were and very very slow to acknowledge customers. Desk clerks were very helpful and friendly. Although I have stayed in poorer places I don't think I would ever stay here again. « less
