This facility obviously needs a lot of work, mostly outside the rooms. The grounds are a disaster scene and are depressing. The elevator button control box in the hallway is falling off the wall, mkaing us not trust the elevator. On a brighter note, the room was clean and tidy. But, no bath soap at all, even at the front desk. Some people are allergic to facial soap due to the perfume additives, so I had to go to a drug store to buy soap for the shower. The coffee supplies don't match the coffee maker, so we could not make coffee. In the game room, the change machine cheated us out of $2.00 and had cigarette soaked water in the receptacle where you get your change. I was not told the restaurant was closed for renovation...we wanted to have breakfast and lunch there and partially selected this location because of that. « less

We have been visiting this same hotel every year for the past 10 years simply because we liked the hotel. This year will definitely be our last year coming back to this hotel. It is definitely not the way it use to be. The rooms smelled moldy, the doors were hard to open, the concrete on the walk way was coming up, there was trash all around the hotel (inside & outside). I understand Hurricane Sandy may have done some damage but don't open your doors if the damages have not been repaired. « less
