I had booked two rooms for stay here June 29 July one we got in early and told the gentleman at the desk we would be checking in after 11pm if no rooms were available. Since it was before checkout time there was no availability we did a late check in after being out all day. Upon arrival the first room smelt like cigarette smoke, tub dirty with a used bar of soap and bugs crawling through the room. The second room was no better, there were no bugs crawling, but the word F*CK was etched in the wall, the bathroom still had wet towel laying on the floor and there was still urine in the toilet. Spent the next few hours trying to find another place to stay with no luck. After being awake for 24hrs I needed some rest. We checked out early the next morning same gentleman at the desk (who was very nice and apologetic but was unable to do anything about our situation). I was told to call the hotel and speak with the manager or owner, called several times through the week with no answers. I booked through a third party and the hotel denied my refund through them. Last time I take the benefit of doubt through reviews. Stay at your own risk. Their plan was not to "provide me with a great experience." Disgusted with rooms and lack of customer service.

Overall the hotel was okay but it was not clean. Floor was not swept, corners in bathroom had some build up, I believe there was mold in the shower too. Sheets on the bed had blood stains all over. Found a lot of hair on the bed sheets too. Blanket for the pull out looks like it hasn't been washed in a very long time. The fridge in the room sounded like it was about to blow. The only good thing was the size of the room and the kitchen. But the kitchen was not stocked with anything. No silverware, pots/pans, etc.

When calling to confirm my reservation a day prior to check in, my reservation couldn't be found, then I was told my room wasn't at this location it was at their sister location two miles up the street, Hotel One which was no where in my reservation confirmation information. After confirming we had a room, they did accommodate an early check in for us. Went to check in, no record of my reservation again, found a room for us, walked up a flight of crumbling stairs walked into room to find TV lights and air conditioning on (I should've known then but sadly I didn't I assumed I was being given a clean room. ) after warped tour ended and we returned to the room and turned the lights on there were cockroaches crawling out of the microwave onto our duffel bag, up the walls and upon searching a nest of German cockroaches harbored in the clothing armoire of the room. We immediately began to evacuate and grab our belongings, leaving behind nothing except NEW belongings that we found AFTER our day had ended while finding the roaches and one of two beds unturned from the bedbug search we had done upon our check in. The manager of the hotel has been texting me and I received one tempor ed phone call over the last 48 hours and has ultimately decided to charge me anyway because they were unable to rent the room to someone else less fortunate because we ?obviously personally used the room? I am also going to call the local police to file a report since he mentioned knowing and questioning where I live over the phone call we had and has used threatening language in a handful of his texts even after I said I felt as though he was being threatening, it's been a very sad and exhausting experience being a victim in this.

At the Homestead Apart-Hotel, every room is a studio apartment, complete with kitchens with microwaves, refrigerators, stoves, coffee makers, and dishwashers. The spacious rooms and suites feature free high-speed Internet, free local calls and HBO. Our facility is simply more comfortable than a hotel room and enables our guests to make home-cooked meals as well. Relax in our heated indoor pool and steam room after a workout in the fitness room. Many rooms have a Jacuzzi® brand tub. Several guest laundries. We are located on Route 40/322 (Black Horse Pike) a mile east of the Garden State Parkway and 10 minutes west of the Atlantic City Boardwalk and Casinos. There are many, many food choices in walking distance. Mainland Bingo Hall is next door. The kids will also enjoy Storybook Land four miles west. Atlantic City International Airport and FAA Technical Center is five miles. Enjoy your stay.
