We stayed at Cambria Suites at the Savannah Airport for 4 days at the first of May. On the night we arrived, the lobby was closed because new tile was being installed. It was a little inconvenient having to enter through a back door, down the hall and through the fitness center. The room we were given was next to a bunch of rambunctious middle-schoolers yelling and bouncing off the walls. (There was a big group of school kids on a school outing). We went back down to the lobby to complain and the manager gave us a 4th floor room away from the noisy kids. We had 3 adults in our party and the person using the sofa bed had sufficient private space and found the sofa bed comfortable. There was a TV in the bedroom and in the living room. One odd thing was that the channel numbers in the living room and bedroom didn't match for some channels and some channels were missing on the bedroom TV (weird!). The Queen beds had extra comfy mattresses. I have a hard time getting a comfortable bed when I travel and I was completely happy with this one. There was a good variety of foods for breakfast. The hotel was conveniently located near the airport, Walmart and a number of restaurants. On the second day we were there, the lobby opened back up, making access much more convenient. My husband and I used the fitness center one night. There were 3 treadmills, an elliptical, and a weight machine. Everything was clean and in good repair, though one of the treadmills was loud so that you couldn't hear the TV over it. The room was quiet, attractive and clean. The staff was very professional and friendly and addressed our issues early in our stay to our satisfaction. In spite of the slightly rocky start, we had a great stay and would stay again on future trips. « less

We stayed here in March 2013 on our way to North Carolina. We were only going to be in Savannah 1 day so we chose to stay close to the interstate instead of in the historic district. This hotel was being upgraded, so the front lobby was still under construction, but the areas that were completed were clean & modern. Because we booked thru Hotwire, we got a very low room rate, which excluded us from having the free continental breakfast. However, the room was very nice, with a separate sitting room and desk for our luggage, large screen TV and large, clean bathroom. Extra amenities such as the coffee pot, ironing board, hair dryer, personal care items were nice. « less

This facility needs maintenance. The lobby carpeting is buckled and unsightly. Our bathroom wallpaper was coming loose from the wall.
It needs more staffing. There was no self service coffee bar set up in the lobby. The poor woman working the restaurant area was too busy. There was one woman waiting tables, cooking and trying to wait on the line of guest waiting for cappuccino or other specialty coffees. She was doing the best she could, but REALLY needed help. Where was the manager? He or she should have been there to help her or at least set up the coffee bar. Would not return to this property. « less

first time staying at this hotel chain. Wasn't disappointed, The rooms were large, had a divider from the bedroom to the common space, i was suprised how spacious the rooms actually were. Super clean, everything looked and smelled new. Customer service was nice also, check in was a breeze.
No conteniental breakfast though, you have to pay for the breakfast, Im not used to having to pay for breakfast, but they have a chef and a bar where you order breakfast in the lobby. almost looks like a sushi bar. I had to knock them down one star for that. I wish trip advisor did half stars. I would have given the Cambria Suites 4.5 stars instead of 4 stars. Im just not a fan of having to pay for breakfast when your paying $100 plus for a room.
But if your staying in the area, this is a great hotel, its literally a mile from the airport, and about 15 mins from down town savannah. and also not too close to all the hustle and bustle in downtown savannah. Id recommend this hotel. Just wish they didn't charge for breakfast. « less
