Beginning cause the staff miss place a baggage a our room was wnt ready on time but other then that we enjoyed our stay at the W....Good location in th French quarter friendly staff and the rest room was wonderful lay out....we would most likely look at staying at W in Atlanta later this year.. « less

I stayed in room 2121, half of the window is blocked by the other building. It is always dark in the room. The layout of the room and bathroom is weird, you basically have to turn once you enter the room. The bath tub/faucet is not very clean, the towel has certain smells. I can hear clearly what's going on outside or in the room nearby. « less

Everyone from valet to bartender to front desk treated us like royalty. Check out SoBou, the restaurant / bar in the hotel. Great drinks & food. Must have: Boudin breakfast bowl. True Cajun breakfast. Just a couple blocks from Jackson Square in one direction & the casino & aquarium the other way. This is a true "boutique" hotel & they take very good care of their guests. Rooms are very modern, clean, comfortable. Beautiful, quiet inner courtyard area with seating to read or chill & an outdoor pool. I have been to New Orleans many times & this is my new go-to place. Wide variety of restaurants & bars in every direction. Emeril's NOLA just around the corner & down the street everything from casual to find dining. Cannot say enough about our stay. My partner and I stayed at the W French Quarter over the second weekend of Jazz Fest. Our stay began with a welcome cocktail! Jermaine helped us with our check-in. He was super friendly and the process was efficient and problem free thanks to his efforts. Our room had a balcony overlooking the fantastic courtyard and pool. I thought the room was a decent size compared to other Ws where I've stayed. We even managed to get a table at the restaurant SoBou (with the help of Jermaine!). « less

First I want to thank the W Hotel for a fantastic week in New Orleans!! You are certainly a very big part of making me, my wife, and my mom and dad's stay in New Orleans EXCEPTIONAL!! First lets talk about Stacy the concierge. Unbelievable at her job! Never disappoints! and spot on with every recommendation!! Always a smile on her face. She just makes you feel good!! Thank you Stacy!!! The New restaurant is beautiful. A great place to eat and drink and drink and drink. I highly recommend the hamburger slider. It was amazingly delicious and the alligator sausage!!! stupendous! To top off the good food was the fantastic service we received from both Graham and Sharon (who by the way is a NJ girl....NJ in the house Woohoo) They knew how to converse with us as well has give us our space. Thank you Graham and Sharon. Now our bartenders Austin and Abigail took such good care of us that we didn't want leave!!! Austin even concocted a drink for me that to say the least should be put on the menu. It was very good!!! Thank you Austin and Abigail!! Ben Front desk Manager was terrific as well as Sharon, Nadia and Ariel from the front desk. Thank you guys!!Finally Malik and Mark Bellhops were so friendly and funny and just made you feel so welcomed. Thank you Malik and Mark. This hotel was clean clean clean.
