We stayed here on points for our anniversary. Had a nice big room, which was an upgrade. Even on the 13th floor, though, you could hear street noise. I don't just mean loud trucks and the light rail chimes, but we could even hear an evangelist hollering on the corner. Yes, yes, should be expected when downtown, to some degree, but I think the architect chose poorly on the windows. We made the mistake of choosing the "green" option for the room, expecting this meant no changing the sheets, reusing towels... But no, it means zero room service whatsoever. We're not slobs, but we do drink the coffee. C'mon, Westin, you can do better. « less

Large rooms with all the facilities you would expect. Can not fault the room, and everyone was helpful. Odd, no obvious main entrance. Didn't use the restaurant. The meeting facilities were excellent and the standard of food provided was great. I nearly gave this 5 stars, but something just held me back. Maybe I'm being harsh today. « less

Awesome place to stay in Phoenix. The hotel is modern, great large room with nice furnishings, clean. Wonderful outdoor spaces to relax. The staff was excellent-helpful, efficient. I can't say enough about the service whether it was the person who answered the phone for in-room dining or the valets. The exercise room was very nice-plenty of equipment. I would stay here again in a second and have recommended the hotel to friends traveling to Phoenix. « less

The Westin Downtown is a lovely hotel with large rooms, comfortable beds and a great location. My only complaint is that the inroom internet didn't work at all one night. Not a deal breaker, just inconvenient. The staff is really top-notch...very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here if you want a great location, great staff and great room. « less

We arrived in Phoenix at hotel and it was in the city of Phoenix although there was alot around the overall area was not the greatest. Upon arriving we chose to valet park our car but BEWARE you will be CHARGED $28.00 PER DAY to keep you car in THEIR LOT. We were not very pleased having to pay to valet park our vehicle. Should you choose not to valet there is a parking lot Diagonal to the rear of hotel across and half way down street from hotel that you will also PAY FOR. I have never paid to park in any hotel I have ever stayed in especially since I paid quite a bit of money for my room at this hotel. The first nite we ordered room service and got pizza n salad. The salad was good and a decent size portion the pizza, however, well that wasnt so great. Their in room service menu was limited. We did however have a great breakfast at IHOP. Remember not to tip if you order room service, unless you feel you want to, they include 20% in their charges that they split between the employees. Remember to read the fine print. Overall our stay was nice but I don't think we will stay there again. « less
