I just completed a multi-night stay at the Denver Marriott Tech Center while attending a small convention going on in one of the hotel's many conference rooms. Before I focus on the rooms, I have to start by saying this hotels' staff, as a whole, has to be one of the friendliest group of people I have ever met in the hotel industry. I stay at a lot of hotels, of all different kinds, and most employees seem to be there to get their shift over and done with as soon as possible. But everyone here seems to truly enjoy their job, is quick to smile and say "Hello", and puts in that extra effort. Extra credit goes to Jam in the bar/restaurant. He took care of my table two nights in a row, and was super friendly, attentive, and despite probably seeing thousands of customers a year, remembered our group two nights in a row! The hotel itself is quite large with two distinct "wings". My room was in the wing to the left of check-in which is centered around a large airy atrium. Unfortunately, they didn't have any rooms overlook the atrium and instead I was given a double room down a VERY long hallway overlooking the highway. (Not so nice). I don't mind a little background noise, but if you are a light sleeper, be sure to ask for a room not facing the road as the traffic noise could be heard clearly in the room. The hallways in the hotel are a little dated, showing the scuffs and wear of an older hotel, but the rooms themselves, while nothing to shout about, were clean and comfortable. The wi-fi was fast and easy to access. One other positive point of note for this hotel was the food. My I had room service one night, and the food was quick and actually quite tasty. Plus they threw in a free chocolate chip cookie which was a nice touch. I had dinner in the restaurant another night, and we had breakfasts and lunches catered by the hotel as part of the convention I was there for. For hotel food, everything was actually pretty good. Overall this was a very nice stay due to the excellent staff and comfortable rooms, and I would stay here again when in the area. « less

If you have business in the Tech Center area, this is a nice option; it's a slightly-nicer-than-average full service Marriott.
The layout is kind of strange, with what appears to be an 'older' section (to the left) and a newer section (to the right) with a conference center in the middle.
There's nothing unique or romantic about this hotel - or about the entire Tech Center area, for that matter, but for work or an on-site convention, it's fine.
Parking is strange though - it's gated and costs money, which seems really strange to me considering the hotel is in a suburban area and covers a huge land area - just annoying.
And you need a room card to exit, even after check-out, which is just wacky.

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"Everything went excellent. I'm really glad I decided to go with both your company and Sierra Suites for accommodations for my wedding. People are now wishing there were more Sierra Suites around. They were even kind enough to offer the discounted rate to those people that weren't sure they'd make to the wedding until after the cutoff date. I have already referred someone to your service for a wedding she's planning in Michigan." R.S. - Parsippany, NY
"We want to thank you for your assistance. It's really a great website and a wonderful options for getting a variety of bids in a very short amount of time. Much easier that telephone calls and 100's of miles on vehicles." L.T. - Scottsdale, AZ
