The Residence Inn Times Square is a brand new property that opened in December 2005. It is the first Residence Inn in New York City and the first 100% non smoking hotel. Included in the rate we offer a full American breakfast buffet served daily, complimentary evening social reception served from Monday-Thursday and complimentary high speed Internet access in the rooms. Our rooms are studio suites with either a king or queen bed and a pullout sofa. We have fully equipped kitchen in all suites, guest laundry facilities and complimentary grocery shopping service. The hotel has 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

Easy access to all mid town activities yet away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square just a short 5 min walk away. The small kitchen in the unit is great. The free breakfast on the 3rd floor is really not worth the effort. Front office staff have always been polite, competent and helpful. Clean and modern rooms. All in all a well run property judging from a customers perspective. Nicer than many other places i have stayed in midtown over the past 20 years. This time we had a nice view of Bryant Park. I booked this hotel to be near the theaters after a trip to Europe. This is the first time that I have stayed at a Residence Inn and may be the last. I am a frequent traveler (and a gold level elite member) with Marriott . The room that I was given had numerous problems. The shower did not drain and there were not enough towels as well as no bath mat. The carpet was frayed by the kitchen area. I had booked this as it was supposed to hold 4 adults. Our friends had to sleep on a thin sofa bed mattress and booked a room at another hotel first thing the next morning. Our bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was good. « less

What a great property and wonderful location. The hotel is an easy 4 blocks from the 34th st subway station and an easy 4 block walk to Times Square. Right on 6th ave only two blocks from Bryant Park, a great place to walk around. The rooms at the hotel are like little apartments with a full kitchen. The bed was so comfortable We considered just sleeping in. The breakfast was far better than expected. Just wish the hotel wasn't so darn expensive. Would like to stay a week. « less

My sisters and I spent 4 days in NYC and stayed at this Residence Inn. It was just what we needed and more. It has a great location to Time Square, Bryant Park and shopping on 5th Avenue. The Residence Inn has a friendly staff working the front desk, security as you walk in and the maid service does a great job. Our room was big enough for all three of us and our luggage. We appreciated the kitchen area and used it to its fullest. The breakfast was more than we could want. A great variety for all tastes. I really enjoyed the sitting area for the breakfast. The staff worked hard to keep it clean and clear as families would enter needing a place to sit. We had a great view of the city and Bryant Park. I will not hesitate to return to this fine place. « less

I was in town for a few days and am always looking for new places to stay in the city as I frequent the area from Chicago. I couldn't have asked for a better room that was impeccably clean, had an amazing view of the Empire State Building, big (compared to other boutique hotels I've stayed at in Manhattan!), great delicious FREE breakfast buffett, and all around professional and courteous staff. I will most definitely make this property my go to for staying in NYC whether it is for business or pleasure! Thank you! « less
