From Lille Airport (LIL): Distance to the Hotel des Tours is 7 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Navette shuttle runs to central Lille every hour (from 5 a.m. 10 p.m.). The shuttle departure point is located opposite the Arrivals building, and the bus stops at Euralille shopping centre. This is located between Lille Europe (Eurostar) and Lille Flandre train stations. Tickets typically cost 4.60 EUR for a single and 7.60 EUR for a return. Taxis cost about 15 EUR to Lille city centre. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Lille is best explored by foot. However, the metro and the network of trams and buses offer a quick, cheap way to get around. One day travel passes can be purchased for unlimited travel on all public transportation. Taxis are available from train stations and ranks throughout the city.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the A1 motorway to Lille, and follow directions for Lille centre. Exit for La Madeleine/Lille Saint Maurice/Gare. Continue towards Lille centre, Rue des Urbanistes, and the Boulevard Carnot. Turn right on Rue des Arts and then right on Place des Patiniers. Continue straight on Place du Lion d'Or and go right on Place Louise de Bettignies. Continue straight on Rue de Gand and then take the fourth right onto Rue des Tours.
