If you have only seen Puerto Rico via a cruise stopover, you haven’t experienced it at all. Even if your program is strictly meetings and the attendees have zero time to enjoy the Resort, we guarantee they will still find something to do. Our Resort makes you the “big fish in the little pond” which means special attention service wise. You aren’t one of many like most of our competitors, you are THE ONE. We are not wide open to local traffic, therefore, your attendees will not get lost in our lobby. Instead venture out to play and come home to the exclusivity of your own Resort.
Our Activities:
On-site there is Isla Verde beach, our spa, casino, lobby bar with entertainment, pool bar plus six (6) dining choices. Opened in 2007 is the Alfredo’s signature restaurant. Within walking distance is more night life, dining options, and shopping. Old San Juan is just 15 minutes west. Often time groups go too far East in Puerto Rico and are confined to their Resort and too far from the city which is a main attraction and a must see.
Work together with our preferred DMCs or on-site Concierge for; a trip to Old San Juan for shopping and history, a Bacardi Tour & Tasting, a hike in El Yunque Rain Forest, Explore the mysterious Camuy Caves, visit Ponce (Puerto Rico’s 2nd largest city), take a Sunset or Catamaran sail, snorkel, or visit the Arecibo Observatory (largest active satellite seen in the movie Contact with Jodie Foster). My personal favorite is an evening Kayak to the Bioluminescent Bay (great for team building). Your body actually illuminates!
Our InterContinental Meetings:
No matter the length of your stay with our proximity to the airport, your shorter meetings can get in and out, and longer meetings will never run out of options. We have true conference center space, located on our third floor (one floor). The centrally located space provides a good option to keep your attendees focused. If the typical Grand Ballroom is not what you are searching for, we have two Junior Ballrooms with natural lighting and terraces for continental breakfast, breaks or receptions. If you prefer to invite the destination in and have a creative meeting room these Junior Ballrooms are perfect. State of the art equipment and flexible breakout space with and without permanent board rooms. We also understand that your associates need to remain connected and that is why we offer complimentary Wireless Access throughout the Resort and within guest rooms. Our Business Center is open 24 hours and can assist you with the production of your meeting. Meals are typically placed outside to overlook the Pool, Gardens, and Isla Verde Beach. We want you to enjoy the reason you came; for the warm weather and authentic feel of the Caribbean. Backup is always blocked and if preferred we will place meal functions inside. Our Plazoleta is a covered venue that can accommodate up to 300 for dinner and 400 for a reception.
You will find the Resort is a perfect balance between business and pleasure. When you are the “big fish in a little pond”, your attendees will run into each other throughout the Resort and be able to network and build stronger partnerships.
