Stayed 3 nights at this hotel.......the room was a standard and quite frankly hospital rooms are larger than this. The bed sheets could have fitted the bed better....I think they used double sheets on a queen bed. The bathroom was small but very clean, my only complaint was they do not supply conditioner, i know Its a girlie thing but I need it! Hotel staff were very cheerful. Location was good « less

My first visit to this hotel this year and I'm pleased to see standards have been maintained. Special mention must go to the lovely Zia, ace bellman, who always works so hard to ensure that me and my guests enjoy their stay - he is such an asset to the hotel and nothing is too much trouble for him! Looking forward to going back again soon. « less

This hotel is comfortable, clean and is in a great location downtown (2 minute walk to Eaton Center).
The staff was helpful and pleasant to deal with (easy check in / check out). Not much service included in the hotel, but irrelevant because I was there for business and was out for most of the day.
Due to location, cleanliness and cost I would recommend this hotel to anyone (business or pleasure) staying in downtown Toronto for a few days. « less

I stayed in room 415 last night. Two major points are:
- Shower design is a major slip hazard - Wifi isn't free unless you are in a "business" room
Charging for wifi is just plain ridiculous. Even budget hotels like Super 8 have free wifi. I was on the 4th floor in what they advertise as a "Business Queen". (Business Rooms are on the 4th, 16-18th floors and are the only ones that include wi-fi in the rate, otherwise you have to pay for it separately). I was also asked how many devices I have before I was given the access coed for wireless, so perhaps you will be charged more/require multiple codes if you have more than one device.
The bed, pillows and bedding were really plush and comfortable. I slept like a baby, even though I was facing Dundas Street and I had the a/c on full blast.
It was a good stay overall, but beware of the shower. It has only a partial glass partition. Water from the shower sprays all over the floor! It is really dangerous, and the bathmat was soaked through after only a brief shower. Be really, really careful stepping out of the shower.
The bathroom has a frosted glass pocket door, and frosted glass on the wall dividing it from the bed, so if you're with someone, you won't have that much privacy, and the light from the bathroom is really bright. « less

Management response from Ivan Jacob, Front Office Manager
Dear MKUltra3340:
Thank you for your feedback on the Bond Place Hotel. We appreciate the points that you’ve mentioned and wish to elaborate on them. Our Showers were designed with a solid-core floor that features non-slip grips to ensure the safety of our guests. We are certainly concerned over the safety of our guests and because of your comments, I have asked our Housekeeping Department and Maintenance Engineers to inspect all showers upon their inspections to ensure that these grips are up to standard. You are right about complimentary internet being offered with our Business Rooms and Suites. We do not include the cost of internet in our Standard Rooms as we like to keep the rates lower to ensure that our travelers on a budget can enjoy Toronto in comfort. We do have computers in the lobby with internet access that is absolutely free to use for all of our guests. Also, there is only one charge per guest. If the guest has multiple devices, we are more than happy to extend internet access to cover all of them. We are very appreciative for your comments and wish to extend some other options upon your next visit to Toronto. Please connect with us directly at 416-362-6061 when making reservations and we will ensure that your stay is up to expectations. Thank you for choosing the Bond Place Hotel.
