The hotel room was nice and clean and included all basic necessities. The A/C unit was rather loud when it would turn on. Customer service was great. The free continental breakfast was quite good and included a decent variety of hot and cold items. The hotel is undergoing renovation work, but it did not affect our stay.

My wife and I really appreciated the room. It had a comfortable king sized bed, a desk, a refrigerator, an easy chair, a rolling office chair, a footstool and a coffee table! This is magnificent! The breakfast was excellent with great egg dishes and bacon fried to different levels of doneness. They had salt and pepper at the tables as well as real bottles of ketchup! They even provided Frank's Hot Sauce! The staff was wonderful, helpful and very appreciative of compliments! We will be back!

"Helpful front desk staff and clean hotel"

The hotel was clean, front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room had all the basics, bed and pillows were comfortable, location was quiet but still accessible by tram or walking. Staff was the best part though, they held our bags the last day and made us feel welcomed.

"Very convenient and lovely staff"

Very straight forward hotel, located near lots of fun downtown attractions. Within walking or a quick ride away! Comfortable and clean, breakfast is average as can be expected from this style of hotel. Staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. We felt very secure during our stay. Also really enjoyed this specific location as it has a more private drop off area. A lot of downtown toronto hotels are right on a busy street corner or on a main Street in the middle of the road, this hotel has it's own enclosed drop off area off of a side street, feels private, secure and much easier to get in and out of a ride No rushing across a street when a car arrives on the other side from you. Room was nice and snuggly warm, great after walking in the cold after a concert! Thanks to everyone at the Holiday Inn Express for your time and hard work!
