Stayed for 2 nights at the Pantages. We had 1 issue that was expertly dealt with and we were satisfied with the result. This is a 'boutique' hotel that is somewhat older but very nice. It's very well located around the corner from the Eaton center and Massey Hall and a few other attractions. I've rated this hotel based on their response to an issue. Too many times I have been given the run around - not all issues can be prevented but they can be measured by the actions taken by Management. Further information to the room - a basic room was very room and ours had a kitchenette (we didn't ask for this). Modern touches with laminate flooring and styling. I would recommend. « less

I was a little disappointed in the room ...needs some updating and painting ...and it appears much more posh in the pictures! The room had foot marks on the floor and looked like it hadnt been dusted in a while! bed was very comfie but it squeeked everytime you rolled over! lol all in all I would say if you want to be central it was a good hotel ...but definitely not a 5 star « less

Our suite on the 4th floor was very neat AND clean!Great to have both a shower&a whirlpool tub to unwind in after shopping, eating &,our favorite, people watching on Yonge st..Unfortunately, for us,Massey Hall had nothing going on this particular weekend, because it is directly across the street from our room. Will definitely stay here when we go up to see a concert at Massey! One benefit for us this time was the fact that the Ed Mirvish Theater is adjacent to the hotel and we had tix for 'The Wizard of Oz'!I did not realize this when i booked the room for the weekend!Love being around the Yonge st. area near the Eaton Centre and Ryerson College. We will use the Pantages again when we return to Toronto because of the friendly staff and for providing us with a safe feeling residence in the middle of everything. Thanks! « less
