The hotel is located in the Southside of Jacksonville, 24 miles from the International Airport, and within 8 miles of the Convention Center and Downtown. Take Butler Blvd East and travel a short 14 miles straight to Jacksonville Beach. The hotel is easily accessed from I -95, at exit 344 (Butler Blvd) and is in walking distance to two area family restaurants and several fast food establishments.
We are the only hotel in the area with balconies on several standard rooms!
Rooms were refreshed in 2005 with all new bedding, décor and carpeting and updated once again with new furniture starting in July 2008. Be enveloped in the "Sleep Experience" by Courtyard. It consists of a 200 thread count minimum for all linens, 2-inch mattress pillow top, all white bedding to ensure positively clean comforters, real down-feather duvets and more pillows on every bed. New 32" flat screen LCD televisions and expanded HD satellite service with 55 channels were added in November 2008.
The New Courtyard Bistro is open daily for Breakfast and Dinner. Breakfast includes a variety of great quality baked goods, yogurts, fruit, cereal along with hot breakfast platters and tasty breakfast sandwiches.
The dinner menu offers light entrees including soups, sandwiches, salads, baked goods, bar food such as Thai and buffalo style wings, chips and salsa as well as "comfort food" entrees. In the evening, enjoy a welcoming bar that serves beer, wine, and a limited selection of cocktails. Coffee drinkers can enjoy a variety of coffee drinks and teas all day from our Starbucks barista station.
