Our property is on a hillside with beautiful mountain views. We have 13 guest rooms in the Historic Main House (3 of which are suites), and 21 guest rooms in the Lodge. Numerous rose gardens have been restored to their original splendor. In the Main House both the parlor and tavern have fireplaces, a dining room and deck which can also be used for dining. It is a beautiful location for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, business meetings birthday celebrations and family reunions.
We use the spaces at the Inn in different ways depending on the size and needs of the group.
The History of the Inn is extensive and can be traced back to 1885 at its construction as a private residence. In 1937 it became an Inn named "Avaloch" which was operated by several owners. In 1976 Alice Brock and Arlo Guthrie purchased the property and made it the last and largest Alice's Restaurant. In 1983 it became and has remained The Apple Tree Inn.
