The room was clean and comfortable and has everything you need. It is very central in the Mitte area with transport links directly across the road. The holiday is great value for money. « less

I paid about 35 euro p/night for a single room without breakfast and this was really good value for a decent hotel in the city. It is only just on the edge of Mitte (central) and its in a quiet area, with a Turkish feel. The park opposite is very nice for a wander and the WW2 anti-aircraft gun turret on top of the hill is a great spot to visit, I kid you not. Good view of the city too. My room was fine in a bland business hotel way. Clean and comfortable, slightly dated. the restaurant/bar area is ok, but everso slightly canteen'ish; they could easily improve this area. I was offered buffet breakfast for 17.50 euro but it wasn't worth it as there are plenty of cafes near the hotel. Reception service was efficient and friendly. « less

Doesn't really feel like it's in "Mitte" BUT the hotel is very close to Gesundbrunnen station (S-bahn and U-bahn) so you can easily get trains into Mitte and the tourist sites. Nothing much of interest close to the hotel. Didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on food. But our room was very clean and spacious. (Just the plug/drain in the shower was blocked with hairs - recommend the cleaners spend an extra minute and check those each day!). Staff at reception were very helpful. I don't agree with previous reviews about them being unfriendly - they're not in-your-face-friendly, but very helpful and polite when asked a question. And everyone spoke very good English. Windows do let noise in, so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs, or ask for a room at the back of the hotel. I hope this hotel soon offers free Internet - it's not expensive, but it's not good to charge for Internet these days. Overall would recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. « less
