The Royal Palm Hotel on South Beach has 409 guestrooms and suites located in two 17-story towers and one five-story building. New Hotel as of 2002, the rooms have light-wood furnishings, 27-inch TVs with premium channels, CD players, two multi-line phones and coffeemakers. A daily resort fee of $10.00 includes wireless Internet access and daily newspapers. Bathrooms have Spa Select toiletries. Many rooms have balconies and spectacular ocean views. The Royal Palm's expansive main pool is set amidst lush landscaping, overlooking the ocean. A second splash pool is located on the upper deck. An outdoor, beachfront, covered fitness area includes a treadmill, stair machine, strength-training equipment, and free weights. The Royal Palm Hotel provides direct access to the white-sand beach. A daily resort fee includes use of chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas. Water-sports equipment rentals such as jet skis and parasails are available along the beach. A boardwalk behind the hotel is popular for walking and jogging.
