This is not your typical, 2 floor Holiday Inn. This 14 floor property has undergone stylish renovations, especially in the lobby, that give it the feel of a trendy 3.5 or 4 star. The rooms are still very basic and brand-standard, but they have the benefit of being able to fit whole families (up to four people) in one room without additional charges, which is rare. The location is pretty good - one-half block from BART, MUNI and F-line Streetcars, eight blocks to Union Square and five blocks to Moscone Center (although the neighborhood can be a bit edgy at night). They also have one of the only outdoor pools in the city (on a sunny rooftop), which is a great place for kids to hang out. In general, this is a good, well-priced hotel for anyone visiting the city, wanting central, reliable accommodations.

The newly-renovated Holiday Inn San Francisco - Civic Center is located in the heart of San Francisco's trendy Soma (South of Market) neigborhood, surrounded by a vibrant mix of business & government offices, theatres & museums, restaurants, nightlife and shopping and dining choices and entertainment. Each of the 389 guest rooms has its own balcony and many offer exceptional views of the city and the bay. Our restaurant, 50onEIGHT, serves breakfast and dinner buffets, and the 50onEIGHT Lounge features after-hours relaxation with bar menu and a big-screen TV. Our 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting space will accommodate up to 200 people. In addition, there is an Executive Suite with poolside balcony. The hotel offers custom event planning with an on-site catering representative and audio/visual services.In addition, our outdoor heated pool and sun deck offers relaxtion from 9:00AM - 9:00PM. There are business services available, as well as same day valet/dry cleaning, guest laundry facilities, Express Check-Out and a gift shop.
