This is a great location, right on the Riverwalk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the Suite Shoppe did not have any real food. I came back late and no restaurants were delivering. The only thing other than candy and chips that was available was breakfast sandwiches that were so freezer burned that I could not eat them. They should have food that I could cook in the kitchen that is provided in the guest room. Other than that, it was a great stay! « less

This is the second Homewood Suites that we have stayed in recently and this chain is fast becoming my favorite. The suites are large and comfortable with separate living room and a kitchen for cooking. Everything was spotless. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was large. Breakfast was delicious and in the evenings on Mondays-Thursdays dinner, beer, wine, and margaritas are served. We didn't eat dinners because we wanted to eat out in San Antonio but what a bargain! Rooms are always quiet. The hotel staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. « less

I have not had better customer service at another hotel, ever. I usually don't do reviews, but this hotel deserved the kudos. The room was clean and well kept. My room's window faced the busy downtown street, so it was noisy at night, but that was to be expected downtown. I would ask for a window facing the Riverwalk. The complimentary breakfast was complete with eggs, bacon, fresh fruits and plenty of other choices. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating and gracious. They always had time to recommend places to eat or catch me a cab and always called me by name. Very well done. Specifically I would like to mention Destiny. She was just great! « less

I had a business trip recently and stayed longer than expected to. The staff up front made sure I was taken care of with some wonderful recommendations for dinner in the area, along with passes to enjoy the night life without paying a cover charge to get in. All was really good and will definetly be staying there again for all my trips. Destiny, Audra and Kathleen made me feel at home and like I was part of the Family!! What a nice gesture to make to someone who is from out of town visiting!! They obviously love what they do, and are really good at it! It shows everytime I visit and I truly appreciate the hospitality!! Thanks again and hope to see you all again soon!!
