Our 3-night getaway was a great orientation for a first visit (wont be the last!) to this sprawling resort( Villages and Enclave in same winding complex). For rooms/buildings away from the pooi areas( 4 !!) most seem to have views of on-site golf course from patio area. Full daily resort activity list to include all age ranges, beautifully manicured landscaping, lots of free covered parking close to units, which was greatly appreciated when the temps rose to 113 on our arrival day! Chuckwalla grill at one pool location,had a very friendly and accomodating bartendress; menu had ample lunch choices, large enough to share, and prices were VERY reasonable from the usual higher resort prices. A totally enjoyable getaway location! « less

Our first visit but accompanied by US family who visit a lot. What a lovely place. Our unit was beautifully clean and comfortable and the surrounding gardens etc were so pretty. Staff were so well mannered - us Brits set a lot of store by this :) The only possible downside to this was that as adults not accompanied by children we did find all the pool areas literally awash with enthusiastic children which did somewhat spoil our enjoyment as 2 of our party were a little unstable on their feet. That said, it was spring break and I guess them's the breaks. Maybe an improvement would be an adult only pool area if demand warranted it? « less

Our first stay at Shadow Ridge was in 2011. On our second stay in March 2013, we found the decor in our 2 bedroom unit had been tastefully upgraded with new furnishings, window and wall covererings. The kitchen and bath had new counter tops as well as new kitchen appliances. The unit was quite spacious with two full baths, two balconies and plenty of space for four adults. One of the many attributes of this resort is the lovely outdoor spaces and recreation facilities. The pools are well maintained and I appreciate the fact that there are three choices: a quite pool, family pool, and adult pool. Water temperature was perfect and the hours accomodated my wanting an early morning lap swim time. The golf course, walking trails, and fitness facilities were also well maintained. There is a casual restaurant on the grounds as well as a coffee bar and pool side snack/beverage bars. As always , the staff were very friendly and helpful. « less

We really enjoyed our stay at Shadow Ridge. The rooms were super comfortable and makes us feel at home because all the Marriott time share rooms we book are similar around the USA. If you love golf like me, this is the place to stay. If you love having fun by the pool, this is the place to stay. We also enjoyed the surrounding areas, Factory outlets, Indian Canyon. Table tennis and mini golf were the other facilities we used.
I must say that the service was beyond expectation. Staff were exceedingly helpful in every way. I played 18 Holes at Shadow ridge and the service I received was amazing. I left my wallet in the bedside drawer at the hotel after checking out and driving for 30 minutes we had to turn around and get it. The Marriott staff made sure we got it!
Our room had a view of the Shadow Ridge golf club fairway. Our kids made a bunny watch station in front of our window because there were rabbits everywhere. Very entertaining for my 6 year old. « less
