Came into KC for a graduation, staying 3 nights. We got here a day early & Jason the front desk associate was VERY helpful about the day early check in.
Boulevard Grill was a joke. We went in at 9:15pm last night. Took a while to be seated, only maybe 12 people in the whole place. 3 being in the dining room, everyone else was in the bar. We placed our order & received our check at 9:20pm but didn't receive our meal until 10pm. Only ordered a salad & a fish sandwich. It's a good thing it's a hotel restaurant because they would never make it with service as slow as it was. Not to mention the staff sat right behind us & fussed the whole time about a rude party that was in earlier.
Make the effort to go somewhere else to eat. « less

VERY VERY close to airport. Arriving at the hotel early, I called ahead for airport transport to the airport to pick up my significant other, they said it would be 20 minutes, then I went to the lobby and they said there were too many people. But, I only had to pay a dollar at the airport for parking for 30 minutes, so I'm not too torn up about this :) Rooms are nice--I'd expect a little nicer from Four Points, but not disappointing. Restaurant is good, but doesn't have a ton to offer to vegetarians, unless you want fries, fruit, or plain salads. That said, they may be willing to cater more if you request veggie food, but we didn't bother. Minifridge is only per request/payment. Room service, restaurant, and front desk staff were wonderful, friendly, and prompt. Halls could use a bit of paint and repair, but let's be honest, a hotel isn't about the halls--you want a nice room. « less

I was disappointed in the cleanliness and smell of the room, but for the price I received through another travel site, I suppose I cannot complain. Bathroom floor was not mopped prior to my arrival as there were urine spots on the floor around the toilet. The room smelled as if it was previously a smoking-allowed room. The linens seemed worn, although they were originally good quality. The decor and furniture seemed mismatched, as it was a combination of new and old pieces. Felt like the current ownership upgraded/renovated certain aspects of the room to try to make you feel like it was more upscale than it really was. Bonus: super close to the airport and front desk staff was pleasant. « less

I'm starting to think that the Four Points brand has no standards. Some of the brand's hotels are fresh and new, but this one was wasn't any better than an old Ramada. Tired, smelly paisley carpet adorns the hallways. The rooms have old, outdated, scratched furniture, an old tube TV, and a very noisy air conditioning unit that can't be turned off. This hotel is out near the airport and there is nothing near this hotel except other hotels. There is a restaurant in the building that serves a small menu of mediocre burgers and salads. « less
