Verified reviews of the city of Kansas City

Below are reviews of the city of Kansas City, MO from an actual visitor's perspective.

"Great Golf Courses"
Score 5.0 / 5

We were in the KC area for 4 days of golfing and we found great golf courses in closed proximity to where we stayed and at very competitive pricing. We ate at Brew Top Pub and Minsky's Pizza. One of our members who has traveled extensively throughout the US and abroad said the pizza was the best he has ever had. We ordered their largest pizza and it was unbelievably large and outstanding.

"Beautiful Sights"
Score 4.0 / 5

The city was clean and I felt safe. The service providers had a good knowledge about the city. Love the sporting teams and the food.

"Great City for Tourism!"
Score 4.0 / 5

Kansas City is a city full of places to tour, whether it's educational or just for entertainment. We enjoyed everything on our itinerary from the Negro League Baseball Hall of Fame to the College Basketball Experience.

"Meetings in Kansas City"
Score 5.0 / 5

“The City of Fountains” centrally located with the Kansas City Bartle Hall Convention Center, museums, zoo, aquarium, restaurants, unique shops, lodging and night life. Home of the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs Sports Teams.

"Lovely City"
Score 4.0 / 5

Loved the Country Club Plaza but was disappointed that the stores closed at 7pm on a Saturday night when there were so many people walking around to the various restaurants.

"Kansas City has a Great Little, Big City Feel. "
Score 4.0 / 5

It's big enough to offer a wide array of activities, but has a smaller feel to it. It's pretty easy to get around and there are a variety of areas to explore. Shopping, dining, and entertainment options are numerous and the Nelson-Atkins museum and the World War I museum are top-notch.

, from 27-Jan-2015
"Kansas City Trip"
Score 4.0 / 5

The city offers the William Jewell campus and historical sights.

, from 29-Sep-2014
"Great for Couples"
Score 5.0 / 5

I was impressed with the amount of things to do and see. When I returned home, I told my wife that we need to go there to experience the area. I did attend the Royals game in Tuesday evening which was great. The ball park was very nice. Also had dinner at Jack Stacks and the food was good with a comfortable atmosphere.

"Kansas City MO is great family fun."
Score 4.0 / 5

We concentrated on the area next to Union Station. It was very family friendly with LegoLand, Sealife, and the mall with Fritz's railroad restaurant was a hit.

"Kansas City Power & Light District"
Score 4.0 / 5

Power & Light District was amazing!!

, from 01-Jul-2014
"Multitude of Great Venues"
Score 5.0 / 5

I am excited they are revitalizing downtown KC. Easy to get around. Like the different venues across town; Downtown, River Market, Westport, Plaza, Parkville, Weston, Legends.

, from 11-Jun-2014
"Our KC Highlights"
Score 5.0 / 5

The Nelson Art Gallery, Union Station (however we were surprised it doesn't have more shops, etc.), the Kauffman Center, and the variety of restaurants and shopping.

, from 12-May-2014
"Westport Entertainment District"
Score 4.0 / 5

I thought the open air market area was a bit tame. The power and light area was mostly closed since I arrived on a Sunday. The Broadway/Westport area was very lively and good fun even on Sunday evening.

, from 11-May-2014
"Restaurant and Museum Recommendations"

Recommend Ok Joe's b-que and Peachtree Buffet and the Negro Baseball Museum; all were great and makes Kansas City a place to visit.
