We were in the KC area for 4 days of golfing and we found great golf courses in closed proximity to where we stayed and at very competitive pricing. We ate at Brew Top Pub and Minsky's Pizza. One of our members who has traveled extensively throughout the US and abroad said the pizza was the best he has ever had. We ordered their largest pizza and it was unbelievably large and outstanding.

Loved the Country Club Plaza but was disappointed that the stores closed at 7pm on a Saturday night when there were so many people walking around to the various restaurants.

It's big enough to offer a wide array of activities, but has a smaller feel to it. It's pretty easy to get around and there are a variety of areas to explore. Shopping, dining, and entertainment options are numerous and the Nelson-Atkins museum and the World War I museum are top-notch.

I was impressed with the amount of things to do and see. When I returned home, I told my wife that we need to go there to experience the area. I did attend the Royals game in Tuesday evening which was great. The ball park was very nice. Also had dinner at Jack Stacks and the food was good with a comfortable atmosphere.

We concentrated on the area next to Union Station. It was very family friendly with LegoLand, Sealife, and the mall with Fritz's railroad restaurant was a hit.

The Nelson Art Gallery, Union Station (however we were surprised it doesn't have more shops, etc.), the Kauffman Center, and the variety of restaurants and shopping.

I thought the open air market area was a bit tame. The power and light area was mostly closed since I arrived on a Sunday. The Broadway/Westport area was very lively and good fun even on Sunday evening.

I went through the US Mint, Penn Park, The King Tut exhibit. Also The Crown Center. I would also say everyone should visit The Country Club Plaza.
