Stayed here for a weekend. The hotel is on the canal/river thingy in Las Colinas - sorry, I don't know the proper name. It's sort of like the Riverwalk in San Antonio. The beds are those fantastic sleeping-on-a-cloud-of-marshmallows type. I was on the 22nd floor, and had a great view East toward Dallas. Some associates were in rooms on the other sides of the hotel, and their views were also really spectacular. Better than your average business hotel, in the middle of a bustling downtown. I went running along the river thingy one morning, very nice and quiet - and safe. The hotel gym is adequate. The bar, which is where my associates and I spent most of our time when not in conference, is intimate. The bartenders are all very nice guys who remember you. But, spending several hours a day there and tipping well probably doesn't hurt with that. All of the staff are polite, attentive, and friendly. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is also really good. average priced for steaks and stuff. The kitchen can accommodate a gluten-free diet and other food allergies or restrictions. I wish I had something coming up again soon in Dallas so I could stay here. « less

We have stayed in this hotel for years. The latest visit was this weekend. It always exceeds our expectations. When you walk in there are gorgeous fresh flowers, the lobby is complete with water feature and grand piano, and there is always a "treat" out for the guest. They APPRECIATE you choosing them and it shows. It is spotlessly clean and the Trevi restaurant is a gourmet dining experience. Sat night we sat out under their arbor for dinner and felt like we were in Rome! The staff is excellent! You will not find a hotel in Dallas that will be more enjoyable than this. « less

Went to Dallas for the first time to see a new addition to our family. We had no idea where to stay and didn't want to be in a motel and I came across the Omni. We got in a little later then expected and when we checked in it was less then 5 minutes for the key to the room, 815. The room was excellent. LOTS of space, open, cool quiet A/C, the air quality was fresh and clear of odors, huge bathroom, CLEAN, big soft towels, wonderful view of downtown Dallas with floor to ceiling windows, and Wolfgang Puck coffee. The staff was friendly and professional. No problems whatsoever. I would stay here again without hesitation. « less
