January of 2004 we completed a $2 million remodel of the hotels interior and exterior. The guestrooms have new furniture, hi-speed internet plus new bedding and draperies. We have plenty of sitting locations through-out all our common areas. Our convention space can accommodate from 10 to 450 people.
A highlight of the hotel is the Recreational Holidome Facility. This is an open area that includes an indoor pool, jacuzzi, ping-pong, fooseball and pool tables, video arcade room, excercise room and a 25 ft. wall TV.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms. A king size bed partitioned off from a sitting room with a couch and desk. Two T.V.'s were a nice bonus as my husband and I like to watch different television shows. A microwave and fridge were nice to have. I dropped an earring and while looking for it found a bunch of popcorn under the bedside table.....we hadn't had any popcorn. The bathroom was very up to date but not a lot of counter space. I did like the fact that they had a magnifying mirror There is a restaurant in the hotel and an Applebee's next door but other than that not a lot nearby. The breakfast buffet was a disappointment. Not a lot of choices and while we were they ran out of the hash browns and eggs. The two girls working the area were outside on a smoking break so there was no help most the time we were there. « less

While standing in line awaiting a 4 hour delay on Allegiant Air (do not fly them, ever) the couple behind us told us about their experience at this hotel. We decided to give it a try. This is not the Holiday Inn I remember as a kid.

This hotel is very up to date. The rooms are some of the nicer standard rooms I've stayed in. There is a sitting area with a couch and flat screen TV with a desk. Then a partition where the beds are with another flat screen. The windows have a blackout blind which I loved, when you shut that thing absolutely no light comes in. The beds were very comfortable with a good pillow selection. The rooms were above average as far as other room noise. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs, it's a little pricey but works in fix. The fitness center is one of the best I've seen for a hotel. « less

I recently traveled back to Boise, my old hometown, and stayed for the very first time at the new Holiday Inn just accross from the airport. It was very nice hotel... the lobby was bright and open as well as the dining room and bar area. All the rooms are suites which is very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable and featured a seating area separate from the sleeping area. The room had two new tvs which were very nice. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was very modern. I had a nephew visit and he thought it was the nicest hotel he had seen. They do offer an indoor pool which was great for the kids.
Overall my stay was very good... the rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. The service was professional, friendly and helpful. This is a nice modern hotel and a great place to bring visitors or business associates. « less
